App Layout & Navigation

Learn your way around the Samriddhi desktop interface.

Main window

Samriddhi uses a modern layout with a collapsible left sidebar, top header bar, and main content area.

• Sidebar — all modules grouped: Sales, Purchases, Inventory, Payments, Accounting, Reports, Tools, Settings.
• Header — company name, financial year, search, notifications, theme toggle, and window controls.
• Content area — the active screen (dashboard, invoice list, etc.).
• Status bar — database connection, last backup time, and update notifications.

Global search

Press Ctrl + K or click the search box to find:

• Navigation pages
• Customers, suppliers, products
• Sales invoices, purchase bills, quotations, orders
• Income and expense entries

Type at least 2 characters to see results. Click any result to open it directly.

Notifications

The bell icon shows:

• Calendar events scheduled for today
• Product expiry alerts for items nearing expiration
• App updates when a new version is available

Theme

Toggle between Light, Dark, and System themes from the header or Settings → Appearance. Changes apply immediately.

Financial year

The active financial year is shown in the header. Reports, dashboard KPIs, and ledger entries respect the selected FY period.
